๐Ÿ”น Stop 5 โ€“ Water and Rivers

๐Ÿ’ก Did you know?
Water from snow and ice always flows downhill, following the easiest route. When a river bends, it is often because it has met harder rock that is more difficult to wear away.

๐Ÿชจ Gaute Gneis:
I try to be strong, but water always wins in the end!

๐Ÿ‘€ Look around:
Watch the stream from a safe distance. How does the water find its way?

๐Ÿ’ง Try it yourself:
Pour a little water onto the ground (from your water bottle or a cup). Which way does it flow?

The Bridal Veil Waterfall is one of Geirangerfjords’ best-known waterfalls. Its water comes from snow, rain, and small streams high in the mountains.
