1. Follow our new nature trail to Westerås Farm
Start at the Norwegian Fjord Centre and join Gaute Gneis and his friends on a fun-filled journey of discovery. Solve challenges along the way, meet goats and llamas, and enjoy the famous waffles with caramel sauce and strawberries at Westerås Farm! 🍓🧇
Once you have completed the trail, return to the Norwegian Fjord Center to collect your certificate. The nature trail is free.

2. Become a Junior Ranger
Learn about birds, animals, rocks and volcanoes through games, experiments and hands-on activities. Try grass skiing, build a model of a traditional timber-framed building and become a real Junior Ranger!
Admission to the Norwegian Fjord Center is included.

3. Play outdoors surrounded by World Heritage scenery
The outdoor area at the Norwegian Fjord Center is a great place for children to play during your visit to Geiranger. 😍❤️
There are large green spaces for games, picnics and relaxation, as well as a sandbox, slide and climbing frame. It is the perfect place for young adventurers to burn off some energy while the adults relax and enjoy the surroundings.

4. Explore the Norwegian Fjord Center
Step inside and discover interactive exhibitions, hands-on activities and fascinating stories about the World Heritage fjords. You can also watch our spectacular film about the fjords in the cinema.
There is something for all ages, and younger children can enjoy the playroom downstairs.

5. Experience the Waterfall Walk
Follow the spectacular Waterfall Walk down towards the village centre. Its 327 steps take you right alongside the powerful Storfossen waterfall, with several viewpoints along the way.
Prepare for the sound of thundering water—and perhaps a refreshing splash!

6. Visit Geiranger Skywalk at Dalsnibba
Drive up to one of Norway’s most spectacular viewpoints, 1,500 metres above sea level.
From Geiranger Skywalk Dalsniba, the whole family can enjoy panoramic views of Geirangerfjord and the surrounding mountains. You may even find snow there well into the summer—an experience children will remember for years to come! 🤩

7. Finish the day with a giant soft-serve ice cream
After a day full of adventures, everyone deserves a delicious soft-serve ice cream by the waterfront in Geiranger.
