🔹 Stop 7 – The River (Safety)
💡 Did you know?
The current in a river can be much stronger than it looks. Rivers may have powerful currents that you cannot see from the riverbank. The amount of water also changes throughout the year. Rivers are often most dangerous during spring snowmelt or after long periods of heavy rain.
🐐 Lykle:
I like water – but I stay away when it rushes past!
👂 Listen:
Close your eyes. Does the river sound calm or wild?
🧠 Think together:
How can you stay safe near a river?
⚖️ Try it yourself (in a safe place):
Who can balance on one leg the longest?

Nature is amazing, but water can be dangerous. Be careful when walking near a river.
